Service Technician

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Perform Clean and Checks
  • Considered a resident expert on all types of equipment (Residential, Commercial, Boilers, Larger Units)
  • Ability to learn new equipment and repairs not seen before
  • Performs work safely and accurately
  • Sales capabilities to offer customers value, added services, etc.
  • Minimal Call back rate on service calls
  • Other job duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Successful completion of HVAC Trade School is required
  • Must possess EPA Certification (Type I, II, or Universal)
  • Acceptable motor vehicle record
  • Must be available to work long hours, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Sales and Estimating skills

Salesman

Full-time

The Outside Sales Representative will sell new and replacement HVAC equipment to residential and commercial customers. The position will require extensive survey of home/building/residence to determine appropriate HVAC needs, equipment, and system design, develop the sales proposal, make the sale and perform all applicable customer follow-up responsibilities.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a wide range of sales activities in support of the branch and corporate business plan. Responsible for identifying, and acquiring new customers as well as developing, building and maintaining long-term customer relationships. Will serve as the leader of the sales process and ensure customer satisfaction. A key result / outcome will be to provide new and existing customers with solutions to HVAC problems and opportunities.

Provide knowledge and consultation to potential and existing customers to develop integrated HVAC system solutions for equipment needs. Serve as a consultative resource professional to the installation, office and customer base

Conduct post sale follow up to insure all sales agreements have been satisfied to the customers complete satisfaction

Pricing and bidding all projects per the organizations pricing plan and structure as directed by the sales manager. Monitor and track existing bids to bring to a successful conclusion

Act as a liaison between internal branch operations and customer to ensure seamless delivery of expectations and services

Other job duties as assigned

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required

Minimum of two years of experience of demonstrated successful outside sales experience is required with prior experience in heating and air conditioning being highly desirable

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills is essential to this position to communicate with external and internal customers at all levels

Excellent organizational and time management skills is required

Ability to work independently in a team environment is required

 Must be available night and weekends as needed
